Like to submit an article to Ancestor?

We are always happy to receive articles of varying lengths. Please note that articles do not necessarily appear in the next issue of Ancestor as we try to 'group' like articles together. Articles that are interesting to read and will assist other researchers are what we are seeking.

All items should be submitted in electronic format compatible with Word 2003 ™ or similar. These can be emailed to ancestor@gsv.org.au or sent on disk or CD to the Society. Documents can be scaned if that is required.

Although we endeavour to take care of all materials submitted for possible publication, we regret that we cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to such material. It is advisable to send copies rather than original photographs or documents and to retain duplicates of articles. Photos and illustrations are normally returned after publication. If scanning images please do so in greyscale at 300 dpi.
