Purchase UK birth, death and marriage certificates in Australian currency. Using the information from the GRO indexes 1837-1910 (on microfiche in the Society's Library), fill in the form and pay the fee.
Note: the fee is non-refundable so please check the index carefully.

Civil Registration commenced in Scotland in 1855. If you have a relative born, marrying or dying in this year then the information on the certificate is a genealogist's dream. From 1856 not as much information was entered however they are still excellent in content.

Using digital techniques faded or damaged photographs (including cracks, tears, blemishes and stains), can often be restored successfully. Photograph and document enhancement, enlargement and reproduction services are also available. All prints are created using archival quality media.

Always enclose a stamped self addressed envelope when writing for information. Stamps are available from the bookshop for England, Ireland, USA, Canada, and New Zealand.
