The GSV mailing list is for the discussion and sharing of information regarding the GSV - Genealogical Society of Victoria, Australia.
The Mailing List is here to provide you with information about the Society:

- Books Available, Education Programs, etc.;
- for the Society to communicate with you the members or other interested people;
- for you to communicate with the GSV about issues of interest and relevance
- for members (and non-members) to share information and research needs.
Queries on your specific ancestors are not appropriate for this list and should be posted to other mailing lists dealing with Australian genealogy.
How to Subscribe
It's easy, just click on the list you want, and when the "mail-to" window pops up, write just the single word "subscribe" (without the quotes) in the body of the message. You do not need to write anything in the subject line. Please do not include any signature lines.
MAIL mode - This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. - every post is sent to subscribers as a separate piece of email
DIGEST mode - This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. - about one day of posts are batched together and then sent to the subscribers as one email.
Once subscribed you will receive a confirmation email and instructions on how to post a message to the list.
