Beginning English Family History:

Monday 10.30 am-12.30 pm (1 and 15 February and 1 and 22 March)
Held in the Meeting room at the GSV.

Topics to be covered over four sessions include: Recording and documenting sources; Civil registration - Births, Deaths and Marriages; Church records - Baptisms, Marriages & Burials; Maps & Gazetteers; Wills &Probate; Census records; Military records.

Beginning Australian Family History:

Monday 10.30 am-12.30 pm (8 and 22 February and 15 and 29 March)
Held in the Meeting room at the GSV.

Topics to be covered over four sessions include: Record keeping; Charting; Citing sources; Births, Deaths and Marriages; Cemetery records; Shipping / passenger records; Wills &Probate, Inquests; Military and Occupational records; Newspapers; Government & Police Gazettes.

GSV members $40.00, Non-members $50.00 Booking with payment is essential
