The Genealogical Society of Victoria Inc (GSV) was established in 1941. We now offer a very comprehensive collection of material relevant to family history in Australia and overseas, a bookshop with thousands of titles about genealogy and family history and a variety of services designed to assist family historians whether they live in Victoria or elsewhere. If you can not find what you are looking for please contact us.

Orders are usually despatched within three working days. Occasionally items ordered will not be in stock. In these cases we will notify you of any delay.

Many items are discounted to members. To receive a discount please sign in before purchasing.

On the shop website Click on 'Sign in' above right-hand side and use the email address we have recorded. The password is your surname (in capitals). Once you have entered the account area please feel free to change and alter your password as required. Please also notify the GSV office of any changes to your postal or email address.
