eResearch

This service is available to members only (join the society).

All members may submit a free Short Research request addressed to the Research Manager by post, email or fax - no telephone requests will be accepted.

Short Research request

  1. A Short Research request will be limited to no more than 30 minutes. The Research Manager will advise the member if Extended Research is required.
  2. A free Short Request must be submitted on:
    • (i) a Postal Research request form accompanied by a stamped, self-addressed DL envelope for return mail,
    • (ii) or on an eResearch form. The reply will be sent by email.
    • If prints are required an estimate will be given.
  1. Members may send in one Short Research request at a time. Another Short Request may be submitted on receipt of an answer.
  2. Requests will be answered in the order of receipt.

Extended Research

  1. Extended Research is available for members at $25.00 per hour and for non members at $40.00 per hour which includes some copying and postal charges. An estimate of costs can be provided.
  2. Members who live further than 100km from Melbourne can have two hours free research per year, which includes some copying and postal charges.
  3. A request for Extended Research can be made by post, email or personal appointment. Please provide membership number, telephone number, postal and email address.
  4. Payment for Extended Research must be in advance by cash, cheque or credit card (Master Card, Visa). Credit cards may be used through the secure online shop
  5. Requests will be answered in order of receipt.
