Getting more from AncestryDNA - how to analyse your shared matches: This tutorial will assist people who have started using Ancestry but need assistance to progress their family history research. The tutorial will look at techniques to analyse and organise your matches. Participants need to have received their Ancestry DNA results, and, preferably, be able to bring their own laptop to the tutorial. Participants should be familiar with the AncestryDNA website.

DNA Research Tutorials are small group sessions that focus on a specific topic related to genetic genealogy. The tutorials will explore more fully some of the topics from the monthly DNA presentations. Each tutorial will have facilitators who will do the presentation and lead the tutorial, but sessions are intended to be both practical and participatory. Participants will be expected to bring relevant materials such as their family tree, DNA data, if possible their own laptop, be willing to contribute their questions and ideas on the topic, and help others where possible.
