Family History Toolbox Discussion Circle

Convenors: David Down and Trena Ronnfeldt

Join Us for a Session on Internet Archive & the Wayback Machine!

We're hosting a session exploring the Internet Archive — a massive digital library that is freely accessible to all. For family historians, this means access to a treasure trove of digitised books, newspapers, genealogical records and historical documents that can help bring your ancestors' stories to life. We'll also be diving into the Wayback Machine, a free, public digital archive of the World Wide Web, launched in 2001 by the nonprofit Internet Archive. Ever wished you could revisit an old genealogy website that has since disappeared? The Wayback Machine makes it possible, allowing you to view over 916 billion archived web pages. Come join us and discover how these incredible resources can transform your family history research!

Our Family History Toolbox forum examines the sources of family history information and explores how to use them more effectively.

Each session aims to provide information, guidance, and foster engaging discussion on topics requested by members.

Join us in the Circle for a lively exchange of ideas and insights, all aimed at enhancing your family history research.
