The Website is Changing
The GSV is introducing a new website Theme to improve navigation, visual appeal, and accessibility for all members while keeping the underlying features they rely on intact.
We have been rolling out this new Theme progressively and we now have a number of specialist user groups accessing the website using the new Theme.
It’s now time for the rest of the GSV Membership be switched over to the new Theme.
What This Change Means for Users
The core website functionality isn't changing, but how it looks and feels will be much improved.
Users can expect to see these improvements:
- The Main Menu will be “sticky”. This means that the Main Menu which is the primary website navigation tool will remain at the top of the page even when you scroll down the page. This makes it easy for you to select another menu item without having to scroll back to the top of the page.
- The Footer area will no longer be in a fixed position at the bottom of the screen taking up a large part of the screen real estate.
- Users can expect the new theme to display properly across mobile devices, with a responsive layout that makes pages easier to read, navigate, and use on smaller screens.
What Happens Next
The next time you login to the GSV site as a GSV Member, you will be accessing the site under the new Theme.
